This bowl is facetted by cutting away the clay after it has dried for a day or so. It's a very meditative process and I think it comes through in this peaceful, simple pot.

The matt white glaze makes the facets appear as smooth panels and allows the light and shade to be in contrast. It is a smooth, tactile glaze which is a pleasure to touch.

It is a weighty, solid bowl which will hold the heat of a hot tomato soup or steaming porridge in the morning.

I happily put this bowl in the dishwasher, microwave and oven but I leave it up to you as to whether you want to.

Each of my pots are stamped on the bottom with my name.
